MAKOM Communities Across Israel Spring into Action to Lift Spirits and Support Evacuated Israeli Communities

Our country has been fractured in the wake of October 7th, with hundreds of thousands displaced across Israel, including many of our MAKOM communities throughout the Western Negev and Northern border. Our vast network is on the front lines of the war relief efforts, from within, distributing food, clothing and other essentials to displaced Israelis and IDF soldiers.

Responding to the most pressing needs of Israeli society, MAKOM communities from all over have been organizing activities for children who have endured significant trauma and displacement, providing support for senior citizens living in hotels and relocation centers and bolstering Israel's national resilience.
